MEMBERSHIP

Life Membership:-

Any person can become member of ‘KPA’ if he/she;-

  1. Is a Kashmiri Pandit by descent or by marriage in case he / she is recommended by his / her spouse.
  2. Is above 18 years of age.
  3. Resides within KPA’s area of operation.

          Any adult Kashmiri Pandit who contributes Rs. 500/- in lump sum as enrolment charges shall be admitted as Life Member with additional Rs. 10/- payable as admission fee for the purpose.

  1. c) Eligibility : Any person desirous of becoming a Life Member of ‘KPA’ shall have to submit his / her application in the prescribed from, as given in the link below, to the General Secretary of the ‘KPA’ for approval of the B.O.T. of the ‘KPA’. KPA shall have absolute power and discretion to accept or reject the application without assigning any reason thereof. Once the Membership is accepted by the B.O.T. the same shall be recorded in the minutes book and the prospective member shall be informed accordingly and allotted a specific Life Membership number.

          Privileges of the Life Member: All the Life Members of the ‘KPA’ shall be entitled to:-

  1. Attend, speak and vote at A.G.M. of the “K.P.A’
  2. Have a copy of the Constitution.
  • To receive all the communications, to participate in the social and cultural events of ‘KPA’
  1. To move any resolution with 10 days prior notice for consideration of the A.G.M.
  2. To inspect the Books of Accounts and other records of the K.P.A.
  3. To stand for the election of B.O.T. and to propose or second any other member for the election subject to the election rules.
